Real Madrid decide against strengthening position despite problems

Real Madrid will make the decisions about signing sessions at the end of the season – that has been the consistent line for several months, but it does not mean that Los Blancos does not already judge their options. One of the positions that has been consistently discussed in recent months is the left place.

Ancelotti was asked if he was planning with the club on Tuesday for the next season, and he noticed that he would discuss things with them at the end of the campaign, with many who expect Xabi Alonso to replace him if they fails to win the Copa del Rey and La Liga. Even if Alonso comes in, he is not expected to play an important role in the club's transfer decisions.

According to Diario As, Real Madrid will forge Vooruit with their left -wing options for next season. Despite trying to make a big signature in Alphonso Davies this season, after he had renewed his contract with Bayern Munich, it seems that they have decided not to strengthen the position this summer, instead to look at other priorities.

Real Madrid has a return option of € 9 million at Miguel Gutierrez in Girona, but that chance is described as 'unclear', and so it will be Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy for next year. The latter has struggled again this year with injuries, and the first does not seem to be trusted by Ancelotti, or the club by the way.

That has been proven in recent weeks by the selections of the Italian and chose David Alaba to play on the left in the Champions League against Arsenal and to use Eduardo Camavinga in the backline against Athletic Club last weekend. Garcia has improved compared to last season, but still seems to be vulnerable in the eyes of the coaching staff when it comes to the big collisions.
