Real Madrid has lost a third defender of injury within the same day, after he announced that David Alaba has torn the meniscus in his left knee.
Earlier on Tuesday, Madrid confirmed the Center-Back Antonio Rudiger had undergone surgery for a similar issue of meniscus.
That announcement came only a few hours before Rudiger received a ban of six games from the Spanish football club (RFEF) for throwing an object-to-have an ice cubes-in referee Ricardo de Burgos BergoetXea during the last stages of Madrid's Copa del Rey Final Loss to Barcelona.
Los Blancos also revealed left back Ferland Mendy for an enchantment on the sidelines with a thighing problem, which had been sustained various injuries throughout the season.
And Alaba has added their defensive crisis, with Dani Carvajal and Eer Militao also long -term absent for the men of Carlo Ancelotti.
Spanish media reports said that Alaba should – just like Rudiger and Mendy – be suitable to appear at the renewed club World Cup, which starts in June.
However, Madrid could be without all three players for the rest of their domestic campaign, because they offer to revise the four -point lead of Barcelona at the top of Laliga.
Alaba started both legs of Real Madrid's Champions League Quarterfinal defeat against Arsenal, but was an unused replacement for Saturday's Copa del Rey final, and he is limited to only seven performances during the 2024-25 campaign.
Madrid host Celta Vigo on Sunday and then visit Barcelona for a competition that could determine the destination of the title a week later.
