Real Madrid enters the last three games of their season with only three fit defenders, after further injury to Los Blancos. On Monday, Real Madrid published medical communication with regard to both Lucas Vazquez and Vinicius Junior.
The Brazilian attacker came with seven minutes to go and was replaced by younger Victor Munoz, after an ankle injury. Vinicius was seen, limping and is diagnosed with a degree two ankle disease saying Diario as. This would come out of their matches this week against RCD Mallorca on Wednesday and against Sevilla on Sunday.
There is a chance that he could return to Real Sociedad on 25 May, if he forced the issue, but the feeling at Real Madrid is that this is not necessary, and it is unlikely that he will appear again for the club World Cup.
Veteran right back Lucas Vazquez will probably leave this summer with the arrival of Trent Alexander-Arnold and the end of his contract. However, he is struggling in the same way to be back to see the season. He has an injury to his hamstring and will come out for about 10 days, which would be back to him just before their last collision of the season. He will be absent against Mallorca, and most probably also against Seville, but will want to say goodbye to the Santiago Bernabeu and the fans if he wants to leave, in what his last appearance would be with HOM.
Los Blancos was already on the bare bones, but only have three fit defenders, including Jesus Vallejo, who only played 10 minutes this season. Fran Garcia and Raul Asencio will probably be left and center-back for the last games. Aurelien Tchouameni can also fall back in the defense, while Fede Valverde could play right back.
