Real Madrid eye Champions League winner as long-term Thibaut Courtois successor

Real Madrid always wants to have their ear on the ground on the transfer market, and even more when the chance of a free transfer is in the mix. A controversial name has become available, to the surprise of the European giants.

After playing a key role in the Champions League triumph of Paris Saint-Germain last season, the reputation of Gianluigi Donnarumma was barely better. The Italian Shot stopper, at the age of 26, still has his best years for him in theory, but PSG has now opened the door for an exit for the Italian international.

In that position, however, it is no surprise that his agents ask for a contract with the best in the neighborhood, although he already earns more than € 10 million a year. However, a new deal seems to have been demolished, and with Lucas Chevalier who arrives in the Parc des Princes, PSG is willing to continue from Donnarumma.

Caught offset that Manchester United is his leading vooragers, where PSG asks for about € 30 million for Donnarumma. They do not want to lose him for free, while Donnarumma would require an annual salary of € 18 million. Chelsea and Inter Milan are also interested in him.

In the meantime, Real Madrid is watching developments. They are interested in Donnarumma during a free transfer next summer when his deal expires. Los Blancos has just given Thibaut Courtois a new two -year -old deal, but the Belgian international will be 34 this season.

Whether Donnarumma is willing to postpone the case until the following summer, you can still view for a World Cup year. He does not want to sit on the couch this season and would probably want guarantees on his role if Courtois is still there. Real Madrid considered a move for Joan Garcia this summer, and Donnarumma would certainly be a handy signing next summer.
