Real Madrid fear one player could be banned vs Arsenal as UEFA probes four stars

Real Madrid Fear One of their most important players will be banned by UEFA for the first stage of their quarterfinals of the Champions League against Arsenal, according to reports.

The Spanish giants must travel to the Emirates next Tuesday, before they organize Arsenal in the return bone eight days later, but are sweating on the availability of four stars.

UEFA announced last week that they started an investigation into the behavior of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius JR, Antonio Rudiger and Dani Ceballos in the aftermath of Real's Penalty Shootout -victory in Atletico last month.

Mbappe is accused of touching his sexual organs in a derogatory way, Vinicius JR is said to have been collided with Atletico fans during and after the game, while Rudiger has made a throat-dependent gesture. Ceballos is also accused of making an offensive gesture.

UEFA will deliver their opinion on the four players on Friday, and Real fears the worst with regard to the perilous situation of Rudiger.

As reported by Marca, the case of Rudiger is seen as 'otherwise' because his gesture was considered threatening and not well received.

He could be struck with a fine or a suspended prohibition, but Real is concerned that a harder punishment is also a possibility and that he may have to serve a prohibition of one match.

It is understood that Mbappe, Vinicius JR and Ceballos will be fined, while similar cases in the past indicate that a prohibition of one match can be distributed, but that it would be suspended for a certain period. It would then only be imposed for a repeated violation.

Rudiger who misses the Emirates would really be a big blow that looked shaky without the experienced center back in their last outing.

Carlo Ancelotti chose to let Rudiger rest for the second stage of Madrid's Copa del Rey Semi-final with Real Sociedad on Tuesday, and his team gave four goals in a normal time.

The German international was introduced at the start of the extra time of the bank and scored the decisive goal of the draw in the 115th minute to seal a 5-4 aggregated victory, while Real took their place in the final.

Arsenal also has their own defensive problems on the way to next week's game, where Gabriel arose as a big doubt after a hamstring injury in the 2-1 victory of the Gunners over Fulham on Tuesday.

Jurrien Timber also bumped with a knee complaint, while Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori missed the matchday team with their own fitness issues and be confronted with a race by the time to be available next week.
