Sergio Ramos has joined Liga MX Club Monterrey with a free transfer.
Ramos has not had a club since he left Seville at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
The 38-year-old, who won 22 titles with Real Madrid, made 28 LaLiga performances for Seville, but has now had to leave Europe to close a deal.
He has signed a one -year deal with Monterrey, who are 10th in Liga MX.
Ramos, who is the most covered player in Spain, chose 93 as his shirt number, on the occasion of the 93rd minute goal he scored in the 2014 Champions League final, when Madrid City Rivals Atletico Madrid defeated.
After leaving Madrid in 2021, Ramos spent two seasons with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in Paris Saint-Germain.
