Real Madrid could be busy this summer, with players who were wanted in three positions: right-back, center-back and midfield. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen are the favorites for the players who tackle the first two, but the latter is much less easy.
In recent months, Martin Zubimendi has emerged as a player who can be Real Madrid as much, and they believe that he could be the player who filled the large void that was left by Toni Kroos last summer. The problem, however, is that Arsenal pushes very hard to complete the signing of the 26-year-old Real Sociedad-Pivot, and the advantage they have is that they are willing to pay his release clause, something that Los Blancos have concerns.
According to Diario AS, Zubimendi is the midfielder who is considered the most viable for Real Madrid to sign, and the fact that he is Spanish works to his advantage that club bosses want more players to be added to the first team team in their own soil.
According to the report, another player in which Real Madrid is interested is Paris Saint-Germain and Portugal star Vitinha. Club officials, however, see it as almost impossible for him to be appreciated away from the Ligue 1 Giants, with whom they can be confronted in the semi -final of the Champions League of this season.
It will certainly not be easy for Real Madrid to complete all the companies needed to improve their team considerably. At this stage, the arrival of Alexander-Arnold is taken for granted, but the interests of the Premier League in Huijsen and Zubimendi threatens to make their activities of both players more difficult. For now they will focus on a strong end of the 2024-25 season, before the time for transfers comes in July.
