Real Madrid lose Vazquez for Manchester City clash but Rudiger will return

Real Madrid received positive news prior to their second stage from the Champions League against Manchester City, with the German center-ridge Antonio Rudiger that is suitable for the collision. Los Blancos will defend a 3-2 lead with thanks to the winner of Jude Bellingham in the Etihad Stadium.

Los Blancos trained on Monday with both Rudiger and David Alaba who participate and normal. Both are ready to be fit for the collision on Wednesday evening in the Santiago Bernabeu, although the German is probably suitable for saying Marca. Alaba has to start a match for Real Madrid since he seriously injured his knee 14 months ago and undergoes two consecutive operations, and has played for 70 minutes in four replacement performances and is more likely to start on the couch.

Rudiger's return probably means that one of Raul Asencio or Aurelien Tchouameni will fall out of the defense, although the latter could play in midfield. Asencio in particular was praised last week for his performance against City, although Carlo Ancelotti generally showed a preference for the Frenchman.

The disadvantage for Real Madrid is that Lucas Vazquez did not return to training as predicted. As a result, the 33-year-old will not be fit, leaving Ancelotti for the collision without any right-wing backs. That should not be too much of a problem, given the two versions of Fede Valverde there in the last two games. He also missed the training on Monday due to discomfort, but is expected to start against the city. Vazquez was tipped to return by Ancelotti, but it seems that he has to wait until Girona in the weekend to get the green light.
