Real Madrid ‘make move for Zubimendi’ – and ‘continue to monitor’ in-from EPL CB

Real Madrid is interested in signing Arsenal -target white Martin Zubimendi this summer, according to a report.

The midfielder, who came close to Liverpool last summer before he turned his back on the deal at the last minute, seemed to join the end of the campaign for a few months to join the Gunners.

He would help solve the defensive midfield problems of the Gunners, after playing a number of seasons in Real Sociedad and apparently wanted to take the next step in his career after he was not ready last summer.

That did not stop other parties who wanted to move to his services, but reported that Real Madrid is the last side to make their intentions to sign him in an attempt to keep him in Spain.

He would cost a good cent, with postal sport that revealed in January that Arsenal was almost there with a £ 51 million agreement, and it was reported that Madrid could also show that amount to have a deal happened.

According to Diario As, Carlo Ancelotti and Co want to add more Spanish players to their team, with only five home players who are currently in their books.

Those players are Dani Carvajal, Lucas Vazquez, Fran García, Dani Ceballos and Jesus Vallejo, while Marco Asencio has been more involved with the Senior Team this season.

Signing Zubimendi was Helo that quota, while it is also reported that the European champions are also following an in-form Premier League center for a potential summer movement.

Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen is that center back, who has been a revelation for the cherries since he had been signed from the club from Juventus in the summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 19-year-old has a release clause of £ 50 million, which means that a deal could be closed in the summer because no negotiations are essential with the club.

The arrivals of Zubimendi and Huijsen, as well as the permanent promotion of Asencio, would go a long way to help the club increase the number of Spaniards in their books.

In the meantime, Zubimendi chose to stay in Spain last summer, despite different degrees of interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, although it is understood that the Gunners did not make a formal offer for the player during the window.

There was also interest in Zubimendi from Manchester City after the seasonal injury that Rodri suffered.

Zubimendi has 15 caps for Spain and is supposed to have a release clause of € 60 million (£ 51 million) that formally trigger it.

He is seen as one of the leading talents of midfield in European football, and the Swoop would represent a large coup for Arsenal and Arteta, given the growing reputation and interest of the player of top clubs.
