Real Madrid continues at a good pace with the appearance of things, while Los Blancos is preparing for the club World Cup. Confidence is growing in the Spanish capital that they can sign Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen this summer.
Huijsen made the impression during his first two performances for Spain, and shot to the top of the shortlist in Valdebebas, next to William Saliba van Arsenal. However, the Frenchman is considered too expensive this summer and it seems that they go to Huijsen instead, which has a release clause of € 60 million.
Real Madrid believes that they can record a deal for Huijsen in the coming two weeks, despite strong interest from the Premier League. It is a similar situation like the person in which they were at Leny Yoro last summer, but Marca says that it is a difference that Huijsen is willing to abandon part of the money in salary that Los Blancos can place to activate his release clause.
Los Blancos had previously considered the price tag too steeply, but Huijsen's sacrifice could make the difference, just like the fact that the reimbursement can be paid in three episodes. The 20-year-old, who has publicly pronounced his admiration for Real Madrid, is preferable to the Santiago Bernabeu.
So far, Chelsea was cited as the club in the best position for Huijsen's signature. Four clubs reportedly placed offers on the table for Huijsen next to Chelsea, namely Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Arsenal, all willing to activate his release clause.
A movement for Huijsen is part of a plan to renew the defense in the Bernabeu, with a left back and Trent Alexander-Arnold on the right-hand side also arranges for the club World Cup. At the time of writing, Los Blancos only have three fit defenders available, although they will get some of their absences for the tournament.
