Real Madrid planning to sell off academy jewel this summer

Undoubtedly there is no forward line more difficult to break into than that of Real Madrid, currently populated by Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Jude Bellingham. Even Brahim Diaz and Wonderkids Arda Guler and Endrick Felipe are struggling for playing time. Being further in the pecking order is a thankless task.

That is the one who has Real Madrid Castilla striker Gonzalo Garcia Torres. The 20-year-old attacker has been one of their best artists remotely, but did not see the first team this season. Garcia has scored 19 goals in Primera RFEF and holds the Castilla side of Raul Gonzalez in the third level, only four points above the drop zone.

His contributions to a shaky Castilla side this season are one of the reasons why Real Madrid closed the door to a move for Garcia in the January transfer market, says Relo. Previous reports note that the Bundesliga parties have taken note of his form and were interested in a deal. The attacker himself was left frustrated after he had no chance in the Copa del Rey against Deportiva Minera and was omitted from the team to travel to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Supercup.

However, Real Madrid does not keep that door close to a movement in the summer. Los Blancos has aware that he probably cannot break into the first team has reserved him for a lucrative sale. They believe that the use of the now known formula of retaining 50% of the sold -out reimbursements of their academy talents can still receive a reimbursement of € 10 million for Garcia. That would set the actual value of the 20-year-old on an impressive € 20 million for a player who did not play outside the third layer in Spain. It is a strategy that has been used to a variety of effectiveness this summer, such as Rafa Marin and Nico Paz.
