Real Madrid President told Dani Olmo registration injunction was down to him

The relationship between Real Madrid and Barcelona is one of the more curious plot lines in the past decade, as the two eternal enemies get closer. The last proof of this is the registration case with regard to Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

Barcelona faced the rest of the season without their two signing sessions from last summer, after La Liga and the RFEF had both registered, both due to a missed deadline from Barcelona. The Blaugrana dispute that brought the case to the High Committee for Sport (CSD) to the Spanish Ministry of Sport, receive an emergency façade to have both remain registered until the case is resolved.

Recent reporting from Radio Catalunya has revealed that a phone call from the Real Madrid President Florentino Perez at the head of the CSD Jose Manuel Rodriguez Uribes was the most important factor in securing that order that could play. After missing Barcelona's Copa del Rey Tie with Barbastro and then their Spanish Supercup semi-final with Athletic Club as a result of the registration, the first match that Olmo was back for Real Madrid in the final of the same competition was.

According to El Confidentencial, Perez has made little effort to hide his involvement in the resolution in Saudi Arabia. Their information says he even brag about it at Olmo while he in the tunnel before the Supercup final in Jeddah.

The resolution of the case is expected at the beginning of April, after which Olmo and Victor can be excluded again for the rest of the season if the case goes against Barcelona. The Blaugrana, however, have preached confidence in the issue and will probably appeal against the decision if it goes against them. While Real Madrid and Barcelona remain bitter enemies on the field, it did not go unnoticed that one of Perez's rare public performances at the general meeting of Real Madrid included a section devoted to the need for Barcelona and Real Madrid to 'help each other'.
