Three teams at the top of the table have asked Los Blancos this summer about the availability of Garcia. Their reaction was to indicate his release clause of € 50 million on each side that he wants. It is also said that half of the clubs in La Liga are planning to request a loan agreement for Garcia once the season has started.
It has been reported that Real Madrid would like to add an attacker to their team this summer, after the very missed absence of Joselu Mato last season. Garcia's primary goal is to fill a dream and stay in the first team of the Santiago Bernabeu. In the meantime, Alonso recently said that 'no decision was made' about the future of Garcia.
More recently, however, it has been reported that Garcia Alonso wins round, and at least the manager wants to keep him. Real Madrid initially intended to cash in Garcia this summer, but Alonso's comparison of him with Raul Gonzalez suggests that the Basque manager is very high.
