Real Madrid set for third summer signing as €50m deal nears completion

Real Madrid has already been very busy in the field of transfer, and soon they will complete their third signing of the Summer Ransfervars Star 2025.

Last week Real Madrid announced that Dean Huijsen would arrive from AFC Bournemouth, and the Spain International will be accompanied by Trent Alexander-Arnold-er has not yet made an official confirmation with regard to the Liverpool defender, but an agreement is allocated.

And now Real Madrid have been established for their third signing, with a relevant report that a deal to sign Alvaro Carreras from Benfica is in the final phase.

Earlier this month the decision was made for Real Madrid to explore the signing of a new left back. Current players Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia have not been convincing this season, and as such, Xabi Alonso and the sports department of the club have made the Joint-Decision to explore the market.

Carreras is the player who has established Real Madrid, and apart from last-minute hitch, he will go to the Santiago Bernabeu in the very near future. According to the report, a deal in the region of € 50 million will almost be completed, and it is expected that everything will be agreed in the coming days.

Real Madrid expects Carreras to be signed during the Pre-Club World Cup Transfer window, next to Huijsen and Alexander-Arnold. In principle, all three players will be available for Alonso for the club World Cup, which certainly increases Los Blancos the chances of success in this summer's tournament.

€ 50 million is a considerable amount and a good part of these transfer costs will go to Manchester United, who have a sold -out clause for Carreras. But it is clear that Real Madrid sees him as the right man, and at the age of 22 he fits perfectly with the club's transfer policy.
