Real Madrid can make a sensational transfer movement for Erling Haaland as Vinicius Junior leaving for Saudi Arabia in 2025.
In what would be a sensational double transfer agreement, Los Blancos is determined to have a plan B, with the Saudi Pro League still a movement for their Brazilian superstar.
The current Vinicius deal in Madrid expires in 2027, where Los Blancos wants to bind a new deal with him in the coming months, to prevent them from slipping in the release of free transfer travelers from 2026.
The most important current stumbling block seems to be the wish of Vinicius for a wage increase to bring him over teammates Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham as the best earner of the club, who break their strict wage structure in the club in the trial – something that Club President Florentino Perez is against.
That kept the link to Saudi Arabia alive with his representatives who reportedly met their intermediaries in September, and had made contact again in December, before a face-to-face meeting with Vinicius and his entourage in Prague in February.
The eye-watery figures involved include a reported contract offer of € 1 billion and a potential transfer costs of more than € 300 million.
Despite the enormous amounts on the table, the priority of Vinicius seems to remain in Madrid, but Perez is also planning to take the dive to sell it.
According to reports from Sky Sports Germany Reporter Florian Plettenberg, Haaland is the player for which Real Madrid goes, when Vinicius makes the switch to the middle -east.
At the beginning of 2025, Haaland signed a contract extension in Manchester City in the early 2025 to 2034 at the Etihad Stadium.
However, there is a huge barrier to lure him away from Manchester, with the new deal of the Norwegian who is said to do not include a release clause, and the Premier League giants could demand at least € 150-200 million to consider a sale to a large rival.
