Real Madrid -midfielder Dani Ceballos and on the left with a return to real betis are a romance as old as the time itself. A summer barely passes without it occurring, but this week Ceballos admitted that he was 'open to everything'.
Ceballos, 28, has been a bit piece player in the Santiago Bernabeu for a number of years. It is now eight years since he moved from Real Betis for € 16.5 million in 2017, although two of them were published in Leen in Arsenal. Cadena Ser says that Ceballos wants to play this season, and after only 70 minutes in six games at the World Cup club, he is not sure of his role in the team under Xabi Alonso.
Despite Betis President Angel Haro declared virtually impossible one step for Ceballos, Ceballos has done little to talk about a move, whether it is about betis or otherwise.
“Betis was my home and it will always be. I hope the door is always open. I have not talked to them yet, but we are open to something,” he said El Chiringuito.
Despite the apparent lack of trust from Xabi Alonso in Ceballos, the team wants to stay. Anton Meana explains that Ceballos teammates appreciate the fact that he understands what it is like to be with Real Madrid, his experience and especially his ability to take the ball under pressure. In large competitions, when the heat is, Ceballos is willing to take responsibility on the field.
Last season there was a stage in which it seemed as if Ceballos could be the answer to Real Madrid's problems, and Carlo Ancelotti has noticed in the past that he is their best alternative to Luka Modric. More often than not in recent years, Ceballos has had useful runs in the teams, giving starters or wounded players relief. Yet his role remains remaining and after a few years it did not bring his game to a higher level.
