Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior closer to turning down Saudi approach

Real Madrid-Superster Vinicius Junior has spent a large part of the season with a relocation of the club, because Saudi Arabia wants to make him the latest major signing of the European elite. However, he is getting closer to a contract renewal with Real Madrid.

The current Vinicius deal will be in 2027, which means that Los Balncos would like to connect a new deal to him before the following summer to prevent him from being pushed into a poor negotiating position. The bottleneck, however, was that Vinicius apparently loved a wage increase that would have paid him more than Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham, who break the wage structure in the club – something that President Florentino Perez is against doing.

At the same time, Saudi -Arabia has been haunting Vinicius since last summer. His representatives reportedly met their intermediaries in September and were in contact again in December, before a face-to-face meeting with Vinicius in Prague in February. The figures are sufficient to doubt someone – a reported contract offer of € 1 billion and a potential transfer costs of more than € 300 million.

However, these are hypotheticals, and according to Cadena Ser, Vinicius is getting closer to contract renewal. After reports that he was closer to the agreing of conditions with Real Madrid, they explain that Vinicius is not convinced by the five-year contract offered Saudi Arabia because he does not want to commit for that long. Saudi Arabia is not the feeling that it is worth spending so big if Vinicius is only one or two years, which is why Vinicius is now closer to an extension of three or four years.

Vinicius is undoubtedly one of their best players and is perhaps the most decisive in the last three to four seasons, even if he has struggled more this year. The task for Carlo Ancelotti, or those who are in charge next year, will be a way to get the best from Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius in the same system, something that still has to perform this year.
