Real Madrid has already lured Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, but the Spanish champions remain determined to bring the right back before the end of his contract
Real Madrid has not given up the hope that they can sign Trent Alexander -Arnold for free – and it is now speculated that they can try to use their interest in Florian Wirtz to have Liverpool play to play the ball.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, will join Los Blancos on a free transfer this summer in which is effectively the worst kept secret in football. The Spanish giants, however, want him to join them before his contract with Anfield ends at the end of next month, so that he can perform in the upcoming Club World Cup.
The Reds are convinced that they will not release Alexander-Arnold early for nothing from his deal, which means that, as it looks now, Real will be without their selection framework in the United States.
But that could change because of the interest of the Spanish giants in Wirtz. According to Sport Witness there is 'a game' between Real Madrid and the sought-after Bayer Leverkusen-Star, which is apparently Liverpool-bound.
However, until a deal is closed, Real Madrid has 'hope' that they can penetrate – especially because the player has an existing relationship with their new head coach, Xabi Alonso.
However, the report continues to speculate that the presence of Real Madrid in the race for Wirtz could all be a trick to try to make Liverpool afraid of giving them Alexander-Arnold early.
The move is described as a 'potential scare tactic' that Liverpool Cave would see in and apart from a transfer costs to have their own back-back on time with his new club with his new club for the Club World Cup, which starts at the beginning of June.
It is still to be seen whether this is actually the case, although Liverpool is apparently in pole position to land Wirtz after they have defeated the interest from Bayern Munich.
Alexander-Arnold received a pleasant broadcast from the Liverpool fans who made their team the Premier League trophy, just a few weeks after he was booed by parts of the Anfield Memptar.
An emotional Alexander-Arnold said: “I didn't know what to expect in Anfield after what happened a few weeks ago. To get the reception I received, means more than whatever for me.
“I hope that one day the fans of this club can recognize the hard work and everything and everything I have done for this team.
