Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick ’emerges as a shock target for EPL club’

Endrick is reportedly linked with a sensational move to the Premier League as he struggles for game time at Real Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti.

The Brazilian prodigy made himself known to English football fans when he scored a stunning solo performance against the Three Lions at Wembley in March.

His performances at Palmeiras that season earned him plaudits and a big move to Real in July, with many expecting the 18-year-old to set the Bernabeu on fire this season.

But he was bafflingly denied further chances by Ancelotti, playing just 122 minutes in all competitions and scoring two goals.

Endrick is believed to be concerned about stagnation and is open to a loan move from Los Blancos, with clubs scrambling to try and secure the services of the talented striker, report sport.es.

And the star could end up bottom of the Southampton table, with struggling Saints believed to be interested in luring the Brazilian to St Mary's on a short-term deal to save their season.

The south coast scored just seven goals in 11 games in a disastrous start to the season, which saw them win just once. Centre-forward Cameron Archer is the only player to have scored more than one goal.

Russell Martin's team will face competition from a host of other teams looking to inject Endrick's quality into their squad in January.

Italian side Roma have just welcomed former boss Claudio Ranieri to the Stadio Olimpico and are also hungry for goals, scoring 14 times in 12 games during their bright start to the season.

Endrick is also being watched by Real's La Liga rivals Real Valladolid, who are in serious danger of relegation and have managed just nine points in 13 games, leaving them in second place.

It is believed the youngster knew what he was signing up for at the Bernabéu as he found himself in a Champions League-winning squad featuring the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Jude Bellingham and summer recruit Kylian Mbappé.

But there is a growing feeling that he is being treated a little harshly by Ancelotti after making the most of his limited playing time with two goals.

Endrick is believed to be confident in his abilities and willing to fight for his place as he learns from the many talents at the club, but a loan move is certainly a possibility to get him back on the pitch.

Real have invested heavily in the 18-year-old, tying him down to a six-year contract, and will be careful to send him to the right place if they loan him out.

The club are already gearing up for a busy January as they prepare to approach Liverpool for Trent Alexander-Arnold, with the club confident the full-back will move to the Spanish capital.

The report claims that Real Madrid could look to start negotiations with Liverpool to secure Alexander-Arnold's signature sooner as the club tries to resolve their injury crisis.

Right-back Dani Carvajal, who finished fourth in the Ballon d'Or voting, will miss the rest of the season due to an ACL injury he suffered in October.

Real Madrid were dealt another blow when Eder Militao suffered a season-ending ACL injury last weekend, while David Alaba is not expected to return until the new year after a long spell on the sidelines.

RB Leipzig's Castello Lukeba and Ajax's Jorrel Hato are reportedly seen as long-term targets to solve Real Madrid's centre-back problem.

Former Man City defender Aymeric Laporte, who now plays for Saudi side Al-Nassr, is considered another possible January target.
