Real Madrid has almost built up their reputation to sign Global Superstars as much as winning silver.
Now William Saliba seems to have been subject to the last digit to growing transmission interest of Los Blancos prior to the summer transfer window. Last summer, the La Liga side saw a blockbuster -deal for Kylian Mbappe completing, and they will look again to reinforce.
The interest in its services of the European Elite is nothing new and RMC Sport Claim Real has made Saliba their 'priority' transfer objective before 2025/26. Although an approach for the defender is claimed to have been met with a 'positive response' from the Saliba camp, it can cost a record compensation to secure his signature. Of course that is not something real in the past.
Carlo Ancelotti is also set to improve his backline with the addition of Trent Alexander-Arnold. Real failed in their attempt to bring the 26-year-old to the Bernabeu in January, but were lodged in the summer.
The deal of the Liverpool star is up in the summer and he still has to commit to new conditions at Anfield, which means that Les Merengues get the chance to sign the English international. There are certainly worse combinations of players to land in one transfer window.
A line -up with both players would not look bad either! Real Madrid has a number of stars that would also illuminate the field.
Thibaut Courtois is still a formidable presence in the goal, even at 32. The Belgian international is one of the first name on the team magazine and will present Saliba and Alexander-Arnold with some confidence when the duo enters the team.
Antonio Rudiger would fight with Eder Militao for a place next to him, and possibly offers a profile near that of Gabriel Magalhaes that could help him settle quickly. The left side will see a fight between Ferland Mendy and Fran García, which is currently winning the latter.
Ancelotti's options are in abundance, but Aurelian Tchouameni and Federico Valverde could set up at the foot of midfield. But 22-year-old Eduardo Camavinga could still justify a place in midfield or defense, so there are possibilities for rotation.
At the attack, the team almost chooses itself. Mbappe will lead the forward line, with the very capable support of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius JR and Rodrygo behind. Not bad at all.
Real Madrid XI: Courtois; Alexander-Arnold, Saliba, Rudiger, Garcia; Tchouameni, Valverde; Rodrygo, Bellingham, Vinicius Jr; Mbappe.
