Real Madrid’s goalkeeping worry: 19-year-old may debut just before Arsenal clash

Real Madrid could be to their third-choice keeper this week, with doubts about Andriy Lunin and Thibaut Courtois. Both are problems with nursing injury that go an important series of competitions, where Valencia visits the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, and Los Blancos went to London to be on Tuesday against Arsenal in the Emirates in the Emirates in the first stage of their Champions League quartery.

After a return to the Belgian national team almost two years after his spit with Domenico Tedesco, it was a bittersweet return for Courtois, which in global warming before the second match against Ukraine muscle injury. He missed their matches against Leganes last weekend and Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey this week, and was described as a serious doubt for Valencia.

In the meantime, Relo now reports that Andriy Lunin is also an injury to Los Blancos. They say that Courtois racet to be back against Arsenal, instead of Valencia, but Lunin also ended their Copa del Rey Semi-final on Tuesday with discomfort in his calf. The pain started after the game and Lunin could not play normally on Thursday. Although they are sure that he will make it to Valencia, the final decision will be Friday.

If the pain goes for Lunin and he is unable to play, it can give a debut chance to the 19-year-old Fran Gonzalez to make his debut. The teenager is highly rated in Valdebebas, but has never played for Los Blancos. This season he played a little more than half of Real Madrid Castilla's matches, which appeared 16 times, admitted 19 goals and retained three clean sheets. He was previously spoken as a potential successor in the long term of Courtois, and Gonzalez has trained with the Senior Side for the past two seasons. However, if he was stabbed in the campaign against Valencia or even Arsenal, it would be far from ideal for Real Madrid.
