The decorated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Ace Gordon Ryan is always excluded from competing in UFC BJJ by the leader of the division.

Ryan openly spoke about his ped and steroid use, revealed the reasoning for his use of the supplements.

The resident of New Jersey claimed that use came from countless stomach problems and repeated Staph infections. Moreover, Ryan admitted that the lack of anti-doping tests in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition opened the door firmly for the use of PEDs.

“People can make arguments where it is not healthy for you, and there are long-term side effects and things like that,” said Ryan on his YouTube channel. “I understand that, but at the same time, Michael Jordan's quote: I try to win what it costs,” Ryan said.

“Even if it were to take 20 years off from my life, I would not regret that I did the things I did to become the greatest of all time in this sport. Because in the end, if I die, my legacy will be remembered.”
