Redknapp filmed making crude joke about England boss Tuchel being ‘a German SPY’

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has made an incredible joke that Thomas Tuchel was sent to go up 'after taking the track in England.

Redknapp spoke last week at a location in London and discussed the appointment of Tuchel as the head coach of England and whether he was the right person to replace Gareth Southgate.

The decision to appoint the former boss of Chelsea and Bayern Munich met a mixed answer despite his proven record of winning silverware at club level.

However, he made a comfortable, winning start of his term of office last week, with a 2-0 win over Albania and a 3-0 win against Latvia to start the Tuchel era.

Speaking of the English boss, however, Redknapp admitted that he was a fan of Southgate, but was not sure of Tuchel.

Some reports had also claimed that Redknapp seemed to make a 'Nazi -greeting', but video images were far from convincing.

“I liked Gareth Southgate, I really enjoyed it, but we should have won something,” Redknapp started before we put a joke on Tuchel.

“I will be honest with you, I think he is a German spy,” he claimed, who gave rise to laughter of his audience.

“I'm telling you. Seriously, he has been handed over to us f ***. He has. I tell you, he is like Lord Haw Haw in the war – “We have captured your best soldiers” and that. '

'' Go over it and ruin that team ', he continues before he says:' yes' in a German accent.

He then leaves the stage and claims that he “should see my accountant” and declares that he was not paid for his appearance during the event.

It is thought that images of the event come from the recent Tour of England of international competitions of England.

Redknapp was approached by Mail Sport for comment.
