The result – a 21st win in 25 games under Arne Slot – gave Liverpool a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League with a game in hand.
“Probably no one expected us to start so well, but he believes in the team, we believe in him,” Szoboszlai said after the match.
“We need the whole team, that has often been shown. It doesn't matter who is playing, we give our best on the pitch: in the Champions League, the cups and also in the Premier League. That's why we are at the top of the table and at the top of the Champions League.”
Next up for Liverpool is an Anfield clash with Leicester City on Boxing Day, before concluding their 2024 schedule with a trip to West Ham United.
And Szoboszlai insisted Slot's men still need – and want – to do plenty this season as they chase their ambitions.
“I think everyone dreams of this situation, but we often see teams ahead of other teams, and there are still six months to go,” said the No. 8.
“We look at the table a bit, but we also just take care of ourselves and get our points. One more game [in hand] To go ahead of the other teams, we want to be as far in front as possible [be].”
