Renato Micano Eyes Michael Chandler Na UFC 317 Loss

Only one place under Moicano in the UFC Lightweight Rankings is #13 competition Michael Chandler.

Once ranked in the top 5, Chandler pleaded in the ranking after a TKO loss for Paddy Pimblett on UFC 314. The former Bellator champion has lost five of his last six fights and at 38 he is the oldest ranked candidate on 155 pounds.

“To be completely honest, the oldest man in the division,” said Micano about whom he wants to fight at 'Show Me the Money'.

“Who is the oldest man? Not Dariush?

'Michael Chandler, my brother …

“I think that fight is very logical,” said Micano about Chandler.

“There is no better time for the fight. I've been talking about Chandler for so long.

“And if I lose him, brother, I will have to turn it myself,” Micano added.

Moicano stated in a recent interview that he does not think that Chandler is more top-15 caliber and claimed that Conor McGregor destroyed his career by not fighting him.

Renato Moicano says he would have defeated Bezeuil Dariush in a five -round fight

Moicano thought Benail Dariush was 'ready' in the opening round of their fight.

The Brazilian dropped Dariush in the last seconds of round 1 and Dariush gathered to win rounds 2 and 3, so that the decision victory took home.

Moicano regrets it with Dariush to go to the ground after he had brought him down and said he should have been fighting.

Moicano raised eyebrows when he claimed that the matchup could have been different if it had been a main event of Fight Night.

“I have this in my mind. I think if the fight was five rounds, I would beat Dariush,” said Micano.

'I got tired of a point that I didn't get one [more] tired. I hit a wall.

“It wouldn't get worse,” said Micano about his cardiodump.

“But on the other hand, he is fifteen days older than me. So I think if I keep pushing, he would still get a little more tired. I just didn't have time when I was back,” the 36-year-old added.
