It could be a long transfer period for SCO Angers. L'Équipe understands that their star player Himad Abdelli (25) is in the interest of Olympique de Marseille. If Les Phocéens comes knocking, it seems highly unlikely that the Algerian international will be retained.
However, there is also interest in another Algerian midfielder. Haris Belkebla (30) was a mainstay in this team after joining Angers on a free transfer in August. He has played twelve matches in all competitions so far. His form since returning to France has attracted the interest of two clubs.
According to a report from Foot Mercato, Serie B club Sassuolo are interested in Belkebla. The club is currently top of Serie B and wants to strengthen further in January to increase the chances of an immediate return to Serie A.
However, Stade Rennais, who are also looking for a midfielder in January, also named the Algerian as a potential target.
