Report: Barca star ready to give up on comeback – exit predicted this summer

Barcelona has exceeded expectations this season, with a number of players who perform much further than their level in the past seasons. However, there is the exception to the rule, and unfortunately for Ansu Fati he continues to look on the outside.

The Blaugrana were willing to let Fati leave on loan in the January transfer window, after looking for Saudi Arabia in the summer. The will of Real Betis, Sevilla and Girona were all supposedly prepared to gamble on the 22-year-old, but the attacker decided to stick it out and try to convince him that he deserved more opportunities. His camp is reportedly frustrated by Fati's treatment, but the German has been consistent in noting that he should see more in training to give him opportunities on the field.

According to MD, the situation comes to Fati and has now accepted the fact that he has to leave to get the opportunities he feels he deserves. He will mainly prioritize the game time and will look for a manager who places their confidence in him. The Barcelona attacker is also disappointed with Flick and the club, and it is noted that Fati has sometimes performed best in finishing exercises in the training, but other players are emphasized on the club's social media accounts.

The Catalan Daily also claims that Ajax, Porto, Besiktas and Borussia Dortmund were all in the market in January all interested in presumably a loan deal for Fati, and that clubs are starting to position themselves for its services. That speaks to the idea that Fati still keeps a degree of trust from other clubs that he can rebuild his career. He has not played since a Copa del Rey -similar play against Barbastro from the fourth level, where he could be seen 28 minutes from the bank. That was only his eighth appearance of the season, in which he played 187 minutes.
