Antony's honest opinion about Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has been unveiled if the Brazilian continues to shine on loan at Real Betis.
The wing player who once collected a price tag of £ 85 million was eradicated by the new Amorim regime in Old Trafford and was melted in January, with LaLiga-Outfit Betis the out-of-shape attacker on a temporary basis.
It is in Spain where Antony started showing a glimpse of exactly why United splashed him in 2021, two goals in his first three performances and the Man of the Match Award earned his debut.
Although it turned out that the ex-Ajax star could not cut the Premier League, his exploits of the past few weeks seem to show differently.
And according to Antony's agent, his career at United is far from over, with hope that he will be introduced again in the fold on his return to the summer.
“Saudi and PL clubs wanted him, but real betis was the best solution, he is so happy there,” Agent Junior Pedroso told Fabrizio Romano.
“There is no purchase option and he respects Amorim a lot … His future at Man United remains an open story.”
United, however, may have to ward off interest if they want to bring Antony in their 2025/26 campaign, whereby the CEO of Betis shows an interest in making permanent permanent in the summer.
Speaking with Cadena Ser's Radio Sevilla, Betis CEO Ramon Alarcon said that Antony could be part of his team's team after the end of the current season.
“I think so,” he said when he was asked about the possibility that the transfer was made permanent in the summer.
Alarcon added: 'The United CEO recently called me. We have sent them all the movements and details of the player all week, so that they can see that we take care of their property.
'There is a very good chemistry with Manchester [United] And with the player. It is a possibility that he will continue next season, why not? '
As Pedroso repeated, Antony's loan agreement does not contain a clause with an obligation to buy, which means that betis must negotiate a transfer costs with United if they want Antony permanent.
Although United said goodbye to a big sum to sign him, a permanent move could fit at the club while they want to earn back part of their first expenses.
