Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his wife Cristina Serra 'are still alienated' and 'will remain so' unless something dramatic happens, says reports in Spain.
Last month it was claimed that the couple tried to give their marriage a second chance after Guardiola and his fashion entrepreneurial woman spent three days together in their former Barcelona marital house during Easter.
It was the second time that the news about their shock distribution in January became public that the former Barcelona footballer had traveled to the Catalan capital and had spent time with Cristina.
The Barcelona -based newspaper El Nacional said that after the second reunion they were willing to “give each other's chance” and claimed that “everything was not lost in their marriage.”
But the journalists who have broken the story of their shock split shot the chances of a new start for Pep and Cristina after their decision to call time on their 30-year relationship.
Lorena Vasquez, one of a duo of highly respected Spanish Showbiz reporters who call themselves the Mamarazzis, went into a Spanish TV program in February to say that they had launched divorce procedures that were 'friendly' because they used the same lawyer.
She also linked the split again to the unexpected decision of the Man City Manager last November to extend his contract with the Premier League club until 2027.
On Wednesday, the shooting of the possibilities of a reunion said, said Lorena's colleague Laura Fa on the Mamarrazis -Podcast: 'It has recently been speculated that there could be a possibility of a reconciliation because Pep Guardiola had been seen in his house in Barcelona with the woman who is still his wife and their youngest daughter.
“We had already explained that, despite the divorce, they would continue to see each other as a family.
“That is why after divorcing Pep and Cristina with their daughter went to the theater.
“Because the conversation about reconciliation was so strong that we continued to investigate.”
Lorena added: 'Much of this has come over one of the visits that Pep made to Barcelona when a photographer succeeded in getting a picture of him.
'We could confirm that Pep Guardiola spent three days in the city and slept at least two nights in the house in Barcelona that he bought with Cristina where their daughter still lives.
'What we know is that the divorce continues its loop and that there is no reconciliation and in terms of Cristina, there is no attempt at reconciliation.
“She was the one who caused the split and gave Pep a kind of ultimatum and he could still try to demonstrate the situation.”
Laura said: 'The Pep house spends time when it is in Barcelona, is still the parental home and will be the place where he comes when he returns to the city to see his children or when there are family events here.
'Pep and Cristina continue to have a good relationship.
'We don't have much more details about the intimacy of the couple, but we can confirm that they are still separated and there is no reconciliation on the horizon.
“The thing is that when there is a good relationship between a few that has split, this can sometimes cause confusion.”
Lorena Vazquez claimed in February on the Spanish TV 'Y Ahora Sonsoles' on Antena 3 -channel:' The divorce is prepared conscientiously and they have left it in the hands of people who really left them trust.
'What surprises me most is that both have the same lawyer who arranges the whole case.
“They want it to be amicable because of their children.”
She added: “Because you can imagine that money will not be a problem and they are now about the first conditions to ensure that this divorce is as warm as possible.”
She said further, when she was asked why she thought Pep was still wearing his wedding ring: 'It is surprising that he is still wearing his wedding ring and I could not tell you if it is a symbol that he wants to wear as a tribute to his marriage or as an open door to reconciliation, because what is told us that he might be more open than his wife.
'What I am also told is that Cristina suffers from the fact that her name has emerged.
'She has been a person who has always been in the background who never wanted to be known or recognized as a partner of Pep Guardiola, although she is very proud to marry him.
'But seeing themselves in shiny magazines and seeing themselves as the object of the tabloids is something that she doesn't like at all.
'But we know that they are very happy that the news was finally released, or instead of happy that I would say relieved.
'We had little information when we first came up with the news, but we knew it was true, so much so much that they themselves have now transferred the news to all their good friends, because they initially wanted to keep information about the details of the divorce.
'They still stop that information, but they confirm everyone who asks them that they are divorced.
'Although they are nowhere on protagonists, there is a certain relief on their part that their split has finally come out, there are not third people involved, and that it is due to Pep's contract renovation with Manchester City who became very stressful and also a surprise to Cristina.
Cristina insisted that she felt 'great' in her first comments since the news about their split in January when she was only shopped in Barcelona.
She opted for silence when she was then asked by a Spanish reporter about the cause of them falling apart and refused to comment when she has been approached since then.
The eldest daughter of the couple, Maria, opened her parents' lessons about love after he had become the first family member who had spoken since the shock news of their split.
The beautiful influencer and fashionista said in a Spanish magazine interview that was published around the same time that her father originated with Cristina: 'My parents have always advised me to find what I am passionate about.
'They encourage me to try new things, accept failure and keep searching until I find my calling, because if I do that, full dedication will come naturally.
“They also remind me that the most important thing in life is loving and becoming loved.”
The 24-year-old beauty in London continued to tell Vanity Fair Spain: 'In the end it all comes down to feeling loved.
“Even in situations in which we feel out of place, they tell me to listen well to others, there is always something valuable to learn from every person we meet.”
