Chelsea has opened first conversations with Manchester United with regard to a deal for Alejandro Garnacho.
As reported by the Athletic, Garnacho is enthusiastic about moving to Stamford Bridge, but there is currently a gap between United and Chelsea's appreciation of the player.
United is looking for more than £ 40 million for the Argentina International.
However, the blues currently appreciate Garnacho about £ 30 million.
Chelsea is of the opinion that the price for Garnacho will fall if United protects the signing of RB Leipzig Vooruit Benjamin Sesko.
Sesko has been given permission to undergo a medical prior to a relocation of £ 74 million to United.
Ruben Amorim's side has deterred Newcastle's competition to close a deal for Sesko.
Garnacho has since been a strong candidate to leave Old Trafford this season after he was out of favor under Amorim.
In total, Garnacho played 144 games for United and scored 26 goals, while he has provided 22 assists.
He won the FA Cup with United in the 2023-24 campaign and the EFL Cup in the previous season.
United is determined to add to their attacking options this summer, with Matheus Cunha from Wolves arriving for £ 62.5 million and Bryan Mbeumo who participated from Brentford in a Deal worth £ 71 million.
Rasmus Hojlund is linked to a step away from United, with AC Milan among the clubs that keep an eye on the striker.
Speaking after United Bournemouth had previously defeated in the preseason, Hojlund indicated that he was willing to stay and to fight for his place.
He said: 'I think my plan is very clear and that is for me to keep fighting for my place, whatever happens.
'The competition is great for me, it sharpens me.
“I'm more than ready. I feel sharp, so I welcome everything that comes. I think it is good with the competition and it only sharpens the team.
“I'm still very young. I think people forget that sometimes I am only 22. Of course, not every striker at the age of 22 scores 100 goals. But I learned a lot, I think you can see in my game.
