The hefty salary requirements of Jadon Sancho keep a potential move to Roma, despite the fact that the club offers him an escape route from Manchester United, claims.
According to the Italian media, United has agreed to sell the Outcast Forward via Football Italia for € 23 million (£ 19.8 million), but Sancho has not yet accepted personal conditions because he should do a substantial wage reduction.
As reported for the first time by Daily Mail Sport, Roma is the last to discuss a potential loan and option to buy for the 25-year-old United wants only a permanent sale.
Sancho is banned in United and is not part of the plans of Ruben Amorim. In view of the salary of Sancho of £ 250,000 a week, United would prefer to move him from the books for a fee between £ 20 million and £ 25 million.
The large stumbling block seems to be its wage package, worth around £ 13 million per year.
Roma is unable to expand that figure and has therefore proposed Sancho to sign a five -year -old deal to spread his salary.
It is still to be seen whether the winger accepts the proposal or holds an improved offer elsewhere, knowing that he is interested in other clubs.
Sancho spent last season on loan in Chelsea, with whom he won the Conference League, but the club decided to pay a fee of £ 5 million to prevent the deal from becoming permanent.
Reports In recent weeks, Sancho has also linked a third stint at Borussia Dortmund, which suggests that he is willing to lower his wages in two to facilitate a return.
According to Sky Sports Germany, however, there are questions in the Dortmund camp about the recovery of Sancho – especially seen how both Chelsea and United have not chosen to give him in their plans.
The club would also be anxious about potential criticism that they go back too often to the source that the bait brings back.
Sancho signed for United from Dortmund in 2021 for £ 73 million. He has another year about his deal, although United has the option to extend it for another year.
During his time at Old Trafford, Sancho made 83 performances, while scored 12 goals and offered six assists.
