The costs for Tottenham from Sacking Ange Postecoglou have been revealed.
The Australian manager Earnt Spurs a windfall of £ 100 million by coming up with their Europa League triumph, the first trophy of the club for 17 years.
A 1-0 win over Man United in last month's final in Bilbao won a place in the Champions League of next season, but after a terrible domestic campaign, the position of their manager remains questioning.
Tottenham finished 17th in the Premier League table and lost 22 games – most on each side to prevent relegation.
Mail Sport reported in April that Spurs would break the ties with Postecoglou, regardless of whether his team won the Europa League or not.
And if chairman Daniel Levy wants to terminate the regime of Postecoglou, the Tottenham would cost £ 4 million in compensation – according to the Telegraph.
That is on top of the £ 2 million bonus he received for lifting the Europa League.
The 59-year-old has left his contract for two years, with the conditions of his exit when he signed the deal that brought him to London from Celtic.
The report adds that the manager has now returned from vacation and must be given clarity about his position in the near future.
While the dismissal of Postecoglou will automatically take around £ 4 million, the total costs and then to state a replacement can split around £ 10 million.
The club should pay a fee to one of their Premier League rivals if they protect one of the two favorites to replace Postecoglou -Brentford -Baas Thomas Frank or Fulham's Marco Silva.
Postecoglou did not sound like a man who was expecting the heel when he spoke with ABC's Australian story from South Greece last weekend, where he spent time with his family.
He insisted that lifting the Europa League should only be the start for traces, not the peak.
“I didn't want us to just enjoy the moment,” he said.
'I also wanted us to think about what the next step would have, you know, don't enjoy this. We now have a taste of it. My players got a preference for it. The club has a preference for it. Well, let's make sure we are back here. '
And it is not only the manager of Tottenham whose future is questioned, but also their captain.
Son Heung-Min is expected to be the target of the Saudi Pro League later this summer.
The 32-year-old has previously rejected offers from Saudi giants, but is now in the last year of his contract and the club can listen to suitable bids.
In January, the Noord -London club activated an option in Son's contract to extend its current deal by one year – now until 2026.
Son has been in Tottenham for almost ten years, which scored 454 performances and 173 goals.
There is interest in son of the Saudi Pro League, where the South Korea International seen as the ideal replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo in Al-Nassr.
