Harry Maguire will travel to Chicago on Wednesday to connect with his Manchester United teammates after he is left for personal reasons.
Maguire missed the flight from United to the US with the rest of the 32-man team on Tuesday, but sources close to the English defender indicated that it was not a serious problem and United said they were hopeful that he could come with them.
Maguire then posted a message on social media and said: 'Everything is fine now. I will travel tomorrow to meet the team, thank you for your concern. '
The two large summer signs of the club Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo are in the traveling party, with Cunha who reports for duty despite the announcement of the birth of a baby daughter on Monday evening.
Cunha led to speculation that he would miss the start of the three-game journey from United to America by confirming that he has become father for the second time, but the 25-year-old Brazilian is on the flight to O'Hare International Airport that lands in Chicago on Tuesday evening.
