Marcus Rashford seems that Manchester United was dropped to Barcelona by Ruben Amorim and lent last season, and Rio Ferdinand responded to the situation
Rio Ferdinand has been left behind that he scratches his head over Marcus Rashford's approaching departure from Manchester United. The club icon is sure that there must be more going on behind the scenes than knowing fans.
Rashford, who came to United's Academy just seven years old, has made more than 400 performances for his boys' club. The 27-year-old looks for a seasonal loan to Barcelona after he had gotten out of grace at Old Trafford.
He was fell by manager Ruben Amorim last season, which led to a temporary move to Aston Villa in January. Now it seems that Rashford's time away from Manchester will continue with Barcelona that is expected to pay his wages and retains an option to make the move permanent next summer.
After his exclusion from the team for the Manchester Derby in December, Rashford expressed his desire for a new challenge elsewhere. This revelation initially came as a surprise, given his long -term association with the Red Devils.
Speaking on his YouTube channel about Rashford's threatening move to Barcelona, Ferdinand said: “There must have been so much behind the scenes that we just don't be aware of. And Marcus is not someone who really wants to talk and do interviews, so you have to respect that.
'But I am sure it will be in the wash at some point. Is it because of a lack of shape? A lack of trust? Bitch? Did the club fail him?
“Or is it up to him? Are there any injuries that we don't know? Is he lost that desire? That form is gone and can't he be again alternating and can't he get it back?
“What are the problems that have led to a young child who graduated from the Academy in Manchester United, who is famous for all the great players who have come there, that he says he wants to leave?”
Rashford is one of the five players, including Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia, who have been told to look for new clubs. It seems that he will be the first to remove a step from the wrestling Premier League giants.
Sancho can follow soon, with a potential permanent transfer to Juventus in the works. The winger spent on loan in Chelsea last season, after he had trouble replicating his best shape in a united shirt.
After Rashford's omission of the 0-0 pre-season draw from United against Leeds United, his teammate Amad wished him the best when he was asked about his approaching departure.
“Well, the only thing I can say is good luck for him, but I am more focused on United and my team,” said the young winger.
