
PSG abandon Aston Villa in the first legs of their quarter -final of the Champions League, after he also sent Liverpool, with Rio Ferdinand to explain his favorites to win the tournament
Rio Ferdinand declared PSG his favorites of the Champions League after they had given control of their quarterfinals. The French side came from a goal to see Aston Villa 3-1 prior to the second pipes of next week.
PSG played Liverpool in the final round, played some sensational things as they dominated the Reds, and now want to put down another Premier League side. Desire Done and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia were both on the score sheet and the French outfit goes to England with a lead of two goals.
The side of Luis Enrique was slow to get started in the competition, but now looks ready to eliminate the trophy in May with Ferdinand that she labels as favorites. Arsenal of Real Madrid will be their semi -final opponents, but the Gunners have one foot in the last four after an impressive victory.
Barcelona and Inter Milan are also contenders and both parties lead tires after the first legs of their quarter-final, but despite the fact that Ferdinand has still claimed that the Ligue 1 champions are his choice.
He said on TNT sports: “I said as much on Comms as we have been blown away by the goals and the moments of skills, I am just as impressed with their ability to win the ball back, they played with the authority of a team that has often won this tournament, but they don't have that.
“But it seems that they are a team that knows how to get the best out of each individual player and really, really, opponent of players – man to man – but also as a collective. I now have them as favorites, the way I saw them with Liverpool over two legs and the way they dominated the game here.”
PSG has had people stand up and note in view of the way their versions, especially because the tournament has continued. They dominated Villa despite the fact that they admitted the opening goal while they go behind their very first European triumph.
