Immediately from a horror film is how you would describe Rob Font's face after his record loss for Marlon 'Chito' Vera on UFC Vegas 53.
Font fights against unbeaten 16-0 Jean Matsumoto in the Co-Main event of UFC Seattle on 22 February. He goes into the fight like a light underdog. He was a considerable underdog in his last performance against Kyler Phillips, where he won a dominant decision.
One of Font's most tricky fights came in 2022 against Marlon 'Chito Vera' in the main event of UFC Vegas 53. Font wanted to earn back from a shock loss to UFC veteran Jose Aldo in his last performance and was a small favorite to beat Vera Vera.

Marlon Vera has stored Rob font to achieve a bloody victory
Despite controlling the pace of most rounds, the font unanimously lost on all Scorecards. Vera caused damage and crashed the font in the dying seconds of different rounds, which cost him the fight for 25 minutes.
Vera insured three knockdowns in three separate rounds with a punch, a knee and a half moon. He broke the face of the font and the American hunter was unrecognizable by the last bell. Font ran away with two swollen eyes and a bloody face, while 'Chito' hardly bore a stamp.
Vera-Font has set a unique UFC record
While he won unanimously, Vera was surpassed by the font with a great margin. His negative differential was -112 strikes, the highest negative difference for a hunter to win a fight in the UFC history. Font landed 271 strikes to Vera's 159.
Vera's low pace would become a double-edged sword if he went 2-3 in his next five fights, who dropped decisions to hectic hunters Cory Sandhagen, Sean O'Malley and Deiveson Figueiredo.
