Since his loss for Khamzat Chimaev last October, Robert Whittaker has been out of operation and he wonders where he now fits in the middleweight mix.
At UFC 308 last October, Robert Whittaker took on Khamzat Chimaev in what a number one contender fight was in the middleweight division.
The former middleweight champion then felt the entire wrath of 'Borz', while Chimaev Whittaker submitted in the first round and crushed his jaw in the process, resulting in a horror injury for Whittaker.
Despite the fact that he is a loss for Chimaev, 'The Reaper' is still arranged in the top 5 of the 185 pound ranks and could possibly stay in the title mix with a pair of bounce recovery winds.

Robert Whittaker called for UFC 317 due to the rising Caio Borralho
Hoping to go back in the title mix, Whittaker recently stated that he wants to fight against Sean Strickland, while Strickland comes from his second loss for champion, Dricus du Plessis.
With the middleweight division in a bit of a transition period, Strickland is one of the few top hunters with whom Whittaker is yet to be confronted and it is apparently a wise matchup for both.
Number six ranked competitions, Caio Borralho, however, does not agree with Whittaker's callout from someone in front of him in the ranking, given that he is losing.
'Hey, Robert Whittaker, Stop Boys to call you in the ranking after you lose a fight, Bro! Let's fight against UFC 317 29 June International Fight Week! What do you think? “Borralho stated on X.
Hey @Robwhittakma, Stop calling guys before you in the rankings after you lose a fight!
Let's fight UFC 317 June 29 at the International Fight Week!
What do you think? What do you all think?

“UFC 317 Las Vegas! That's the perfect date, Robert Whittaker, let's go? But don't forget, I never lost in Vegas, 6 fights, 6 wins! This is my place! “Borralho went on.
The Brazilian competition recently achieved a struggling victory against colleague -ofc middleweight, Brendan Allen, while waiting for his next call in the UFC.
The 32-year-old is on an extremely impressive Seven Fight Win-Streak and is one of the most important stars of the rising team, 'The Fighting Nerds'.
How long does Robert Whittaker have in the UFC?
Although he has been in the UFC since 2012, Whittaker is only 34 years old and still wants to try to reclaim UFC Gold before his career is completely said and done.
Still ranked in the top 5, it is likely that 'The Reaper' will go through at least another run for the title, despite the loss of Chimaev.
With a victory over Borralho, if that fight is done, Whittaker could show that he is still a big threat in the 185LB division and possibly braking against both Du Plessis and Chimaev, depending on who the champion is at the time.
