The UFC Vegas 106 broadcasting team did not reveal the exact reasoning behind the Bellato withdrawal, with reference to a non -specific 'medical problem' that Bellato forced from the fight. The light heavyweight collision is expected to be planned again for an upcoming event.
In the midst of the confusion and chaos surrounding the withdrawal of Bellato, Bellato went to social media to explain what happened, and it was not what expected the most.
In a recent message in his Instagram story, Bellato gave a bizarre reason for his last second on UFC Vegas 106.
“I never thought Herpes would get me out of a fight!” Bellato posted shortly after the cancellation. 'I'm all sorry, but it's something that is outside of our control.
“I will have more news soon!”
Bellato did not indicate whether it was a new herpes diagnosis that led to the withdrawal, or a persistent issue that UFC doctors forced him to pull him out of the fight. At the moment, Craig has not publicly discussed the cancellation of the last second.
Bellato's bizarre battle cancellation overshadows a strong start of his UFC official period, with a second round of TKO victory on IHOR Potieria in December 2023. He earned a shot in promoting with a ruthless victory over Dana White's Contender Series about Murtaza.
