Morgan Rogers accepts that he cannot predict the future, but insists that he is happy in Aston Villa.
Rogers, 23, has become an important player in front of Unai Emery after participating in Middlesbrough in February 2024 and six English Petten earned since his switch to Villa Park.
The attacking midfielder was associated with both Chelsea and Tottenham during the transfer window, with reports that make the latter increase their interest after seeing their move for Crystal Palace Ace Ebereechi Eze hijacked by Arsenal.
But when he speaks with The Times, Rogers says that his focus is on the field and presents his talent.
“I'm happy here,” he said. “I love football.
“I love nothing more than just coming to the field and playing football and that's what I do. I don't think about anything else.
“I cannot predict for the next 12 months or something in the future. It is only about playing football, enjoying my football and showing everyone what I can do.”

Rogers started last season 37 of the 38 Premier League matches of Villa and another 12 in their Champions League campaign.
He credits Boss Unai Emery for giving the confidence to flourish in a Breakout campaign.
“The manager gives me a lot of confidence and played me because of the good and the bad times really helped,” Rogers added.
“I will not always be perfect, everything will not always play the way of playing. It is not possible that everything to work and that it is always a good day, but the manager had that belief in me.
“I remember told me at some point that the reason he kept me in certain games is because he knows that if I keep going, the moment will come and come the chance and he wants me to fall for me.
“I give myself that pressure and that challenge helped me to perform and show that I can be a large part of this group.”
