Liverpool left back Kostas Tsimikas is sought by Roma on loan, but the Anfield Club wants a permanent sale.
Roma is also working on a deal for Chelsea wing player Tyrique George.
Tsimikas, 29, has not been involved for Liverpool this season this season.
The defender is behind new signing Milos Kerkez in the pecking order in Liverpool and Andy Robertson.
He came to Liverpool in 2020 and played 115 times for the club and offers 18 assists.
Tsimikas has won the Premier League, the FA Cup and two competition cups with Liverpool.
Marseille, Leeds and Nottingham Forest are also connected to Tsimikas.
George has made 26 senior performances for Chelsea and scored three goals, while offering five assists.
He played in the successful Chelsea conference campaign last season and was also involved in the Club World Cup.
The 19-year-old was able to leave Roma before the deadline of the transfer.
