Roman Dolidze believes that there is a new era in the middleweight division
'The Caucasian' is in 12th place in the 185LB division with Vettori arranged in eighth place, even though he was 1-2 in his last three fights.
With the top of the division that is somewhat full of older contenders who come from losses, such as Israel Adesanya, Robert Whittaker and Sean Strickland, Dolidze believes that a 'new era' is coming through.
“I think there is a new era, the era is changing and I will say, there are many guys who already earn to fight for the title, but there are so many that they have to stand in line and it takes time … All these guys have to fight, they can't just wait,” Dolidze said not alone, “said Dolidze Bloody Elbow.
Roman Dolidze thinks Khamzat Chimaev 'can be in trouble' against Du Plessis
Champion of the division, Dricus Du Plessis, will probably defend his title against Khamzat Chimaev then with that fight constantly rumor.
Many fans do not give 'Still Knocks' a chance in that fight because of the constant dominance of Chimaev, but Dolidze believes that 'Borz' could find himself 'in problems'.
“After his fight against Whittaker I would say yes, he earns (to fight for the title). It was an impressive victory, I always wanted to fight Khamzat … he really deserves to fight for the title.
“It will not be an easy fight for either and I am very interested in that fight. Khamzat is a hunter who can bring someone down, but I don't think he can finish everyone on the floor, and when he can't end, he gets into trouble because he is gassed.
“Maybe he can win in earlier rounds, but then he will probably have a problem,” he went on.
