Viktor Gyökeres has fully agreed with Arsenal on personal conditions and informed sporting CP of his desire to become a member of the Premier League side, sources confirm.
The Swedish striker has made it clear that it is not the intention to entertain other options, with its focus only on completing a switch to the Emirates as quickly as possible.
Arsenal and Sporting remain in direct contact to negotiate the structure of the deal, which is described as “well on the road” by those close to the conversations.
Sporting has previously established a release clause of € 100 million for Gyökkeres, but there are discussions with regard to payment conditions and potential add-ons.
Gyökeres, 26, enjoyed a phenomenal season in Portugal, scored 43 goals in all competitions and came up as one of Europe's most sought after strikers.
The Swedish international now seems to be signing the summer of Arsenal of the summer when the negotiations are progressing as planned.
