Nico Williams has signed a new long -term contract and held it in San Mamés until June 2035.
The new agreement includes a release clause of more than 50% higher than its previous figure of € 58 million and a considerable salary increase.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the proposed movement of Barcelona for Nico Williams has now been officially eliminated, with the deal collapsing due to registration problems. The Catalan club was strongly connected to the Spain wing player, but could not have the transfer work under their current financial limitations.
