Romano: PSG expected to improve bid for Bournemouth centre-back Illia Zabarnyi

PSG is expected to improve their bid to sign Bournemouth Center-back Illia Zabarnyi (22), according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.

The winners of the Champions League have identified the Ukrainian defender as the ideal fit to rejuvenate their defense. Zabarnyi would be a long -term replacement for Marquinhos, who will be 32 next year. Moreover, there is uncertainty about the future of Lucas Beraldo, who is said to submit a transfer search during the Club World Cup.

PSG and Zabarnyi reportedly reached a total agreement on personal conditions last month. Romano adds that PSG Bournemouth will approach to find a compromise with regard to the transfer costs.
