Ronald Araujo balled out by teammate during Inter-Barcelona

It has been a difficult year for Ronald Araujo, where the Nadir probably came across Inter, as he was 'in the photo' of Inter's Equalizer and winner in the semi-final of the Champions League on Tuesday. The Uruguayan has to do with serious criticism in the aftermath of the game.

Last year in the Champions League, Aaraujo was at the end of the finger of the debt when Barcelona went out of the hands of Paris Saint-Germain and received a red card that changed the course of the draw. The 26-year-old then sustained an injury that held him the rest of 2024 during the Copa America while playing for Uruguay.

Upon return, he found his starting place disappeared with Inigo Martinez who replaced him in the line-up. He has trouble returning to the team, and against Inter Francesco Acerbi could not cover in the dying moments in the Giuseppe Meazza, and was beaten by Marcus Thuram in extra time for the winner.

Araujo was again at the center of the criticism and eventually made comments about his social media, while he tried to tackle the barrage of hatred on social media. The Uruguayan had also spoken after the game and noted that he could have been helped if there had been a coverage defender against Thuram.

Fresh images have emerged from Araujo who seems to complain about the defense of his teammates after Acerbi's goal, but he gets an earful back from Pedri.

On Friday, Araujo spoke further criticism of what some people interpreted as the responsibility of Shirking with his comments after the game. “I have never been to hide and I will never be,” wrote Arajo on social media and explained that he accepted the criticism.
