Ronaldo names former Premier League player as his WORST-ever team-mate

Brazilian legend Ronaldo has revealed the name of his worst teammate ever during his illustrious career at Real Madrid.

The former striker had an impressive trip with eight clubs for his 18 years in professional football.

Now, at the age of 48, he is mainly remembered because of his stunning playing style while in Inter, Real Madrid and the national team of Brazil, where he won the World Cup 2002.

In a podcast with fellow legend Romario, however, Ronaldo has mentioned former Everton star Thomas Gravensen the worst teammate with which he ever shared the field.

He said: 'There was one in Real Madrid who was a joke – Gravensen. He was a Danish midfielder. He was really a cool guy, good guy. A while ago he won a $ 50 million poker tournament (£ 40 million) or something.

“But in football he was very bad, he scored and he hit hell out of people.”

The players spent one and a half season together in Santiago Bernabeu Before Gavensen moved to Celtic in 2006 after his struggles for the Los Blancos.
