Ronda Rousey’s fastest UFC win was so good that Joe Rogan backed her to ‘beat 50% of male bantamweights’

Between 2011 and 2015, 'Rowdy' Ronda Rousey was generally considered unbeatable in the UFC Octagon.

The former Olympic medal winner had demanded the women's Bantamweight title on a dominant fashion and happily walked through everyone who had placed the promotion for her.

Ronda Rousey not only showed world -class hunters as if they had never stepped into an octagon, but she removed them in a remarkably short order.

58 seconds, 54 seconds, 34 seconds and 16 seconds each but it was her lightning fast finish on UFC 184 where Joe Rogan had her as a superstar of cross gender.

Joe Rogan supported Ronda Rousey to beat 50% of the male UFC -Bantam weights

The year is 2015 and for the fifth defense of Rousey of her UFC Bantamweight title against Cat Zingano, veterendor commentator Joe Rogan causes a big commotion in the global MMA community.

Rogan was one of Rousey's most vocal supporters and spoke with ESPNs than Lebatard, claimed that the Submission specialist was so good that she could beat half of her male counterparts.

“There are many guys from her size that she could beat, I mean a lot … If you have the selection of the Bantam weights of the UFC, 135 pounds, and you have linked them to Ronda Rousey, she might be 50 percent of them Before them.

Rogan noted that the only thing that predicted that predicted figure was no more than 60% was that female hunters tend not to do so much damage as male athletes.

“The ability to bumps is a considerable difference. The structure of the face, the muscles in the neck. Women just can't take the same kind of bumps that men can. That is the only reason why I only give Ronda the chance to beat 50 percent of men.

“If they could take the kind of bumps that some of these guys could possibly land, it might stand up 60 percent. She is a really special talent. “

Really special indeed, not only would UFC 184 go down as one of the best victories of Ronda Rousey in the UFC Octagon, but would also be her fastest MMA victory to date.

Almost as soon as the opening bell sounded that night, Zingano rushed over the cage to try a flying knee, which was easily avoided by Rousey.

While the two came to the ground, Rowdy noticed that she is entangled from the top position in Zingano – a death sentence for anyone confronted with an excellent 'noisy'.

And yes, the champion locked up in an inverted arm bar, and Zingano quickly tapped, with the entry only 14 seconds in the very first round – so what did Rogan have to say after the fight about Rousey?

Joe Rogan defended Rousey comments after insane 14-second UFC finish

Those comments from Rogan, which Rousey could beat 50% of male bantam weights, caused a great stir within the global MMA community, where fans scolds him for what they thought she was a lying with a bare face.

Nevertheless, the experienced commentator knows his things (certainly more than those fans who roast his take) and following Rousey's insane 14-second finish above Zingano on UFC 184, doubled his assessment of her chances.

“People got upset when I said I think she could beat many men in her weight class,” he went against episode 625 of the JRE podcast.

“They don't know. They have never rolled with a girl who is really good … Technology is of the utmost importance, and her technique is so sharp.

“If she came in with a man who does not have that good technology, just because he is a man, the physical strength, the benefits of a man do not necessarily counteract the technique she has when they” the same weight. “

Rogan was well aware that this debate would be stupid if Rousey against someone would encounter 30 pounds, 40 pounds or 50 pounds heavier – but continued to push that noisy 'you still' still 'catch in something' if you didn't pay attention.

“OK, if you deal with her with a man on 170 like Johny Hendricks [then] Jesus, that is of course a mismatch – Johny Hendricks is a powerful, big strong man and he would probably beat her together.

“But talking about a man who is her weight and then, even if he is physically stronger than she, he may be harder, but how much technical benefit she has on the ground?

“She could easily catch in something in a scrambling. Easy. She is one, two, three, four steps for you. '

Simply put, Ronda Rousey was just that good.
