
If he was still at the top of his game, Rory MacDonald reveals who he wanted to fight from the current UFC selection.
The former UFC title Challenger and Bellator champion retired earlier than most hunters, who suspended the gloves at the age of 33. However, it was not a short-lived career for MacDonald, who had his first MMA fight on 16 and UFC debut set up at 20.
MacDonald defeated selection names at Welterweight, BJ Penn, Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley before he painted the Octagon with blood in his only UFC title against Robbie Lawler in 2015's 'Fight of the Year', a fight he lost in the final round.
Rory MacDonald announced his retirement of MMA in 2022 after Stints in Bellator and PFL. Never again the Canadian returned to the UFC Welterweight Division.

Nick Diaz would be Rory MacDonald's dream fight of all time
Almost three years away from his pension decision, the 35-year-old MacDonald was asked which UFC star he would like to fight in his prime …
“Maybe Nick Diaz,” said MacDonald on Tim Welch's Red Hawk Recap.
MacDonald celebrated in his heyday with many top wells weights, including his younger brother Nate but never the older Nick Diaz.
Macdonald and Diaz share common opponents in Carlos Condit, BJ Penn and Robbie Lawler.

“But what about some guys who are now in the Prime?” Tim Welch asked MacDonald that he would like to fight in the UFC.
“I really liked JDM as a good weight,” said Rory Macdonald about #5 UFC Welterweight Competier Jack della Maddalena.
“He is super – I love his style. I think that would have been an interesting fight.”
Jack della Maddalena in Australia is the following title finer in the Welterweight Division, the well-completed hunter known for his boxing skills. Maddalena's 7-0 in the UFC and faced champion Belal Muhammad in the main event of UFC 315.
“Khamzat [Chimaev] Would have been cool, “said MacDonald about the #3 UFC middleweight, unbeaten on 14-0 with back-to-back victories over former champions Robert Whittaker and Kamaru Usman.
“But no, these guys would destroy me …” MacDonald added.
With new blood that takes over the Divisions of the UFC, Rory MacDonald does not expect to make a comeback quickly.
