Rose Namajunas names two potential next opponents who can take her to the title after UFC Atlanta

Rose Namajunas sees at least two women she can beat to earn her first flight weight in the UFC.

The former dual strowen queen got its flight weight championship ambitions on the right track in the Co-Main event of the map of Saturday.

Namajunas defeated Miranda Maverick in UFC Atlanta and marked an immediate bounce back for 'Thug Rose' after a limited loss for Blanchfield last November.

After successfully defending her place with the No. 11-ranking competitor, Namajunas put her sentences back on her to the flying weight Ladder.

Rose Namajunas is open to Natalia Silva, Alexa Grasso battles after UFC Atlanta

The result in State Farm Arena moved the record of Namajunas on 125 pounds to a positive 3-2 and confirmed its number 7 ranking.

In the future, 'Thug Rose' is planning to focus on who can help her finally earn a chance to reach two -division glory.

And with the current landscape of the Division, two names occurred during her press conference after the fight in Atlanta, previously champion Alexa Grasso and top candidate Natalia Silva.

“For this fight I watched Viviane (Arajo), but she is linked to Tracy (Cortez).

“I just fought with it, so that wouldn't make sense … they probably wouldn't want to do that,” Namajunas added. “There is Natalia (Silva), there is Alexa Grasso.

“Each of those girls, anyone in the top five or whatever.

“If something crazy happens and I earn a title shot, I would love that too. But I want to earn it, so whatever it takes to get that.”

And in terms of how she would do it against both, Namajunas sees the Grasso collision as a better stylistic matchup for her.

“I think Alexa Grasso would probably be stylistically a little better for me. I think Natalia, her speed is very difficult and she maintains it for a long time.

“She (Silva) would be, I think more of a more difficult fight,” Namajunas added. “(But) Alexa has the experience in terms of the title fights and such.”

Rose Namajunas could compete with a former rival for the next title shot

When it comes to a title shot, it is not just Grasso and Silva against whom Namajunas competes.

One of the leading options for champion Valentina Shevchenko's next fight is a former double opponent of 'Thug Rose', who rules dual straw weight holder Zhang Weili.

After her UFC 315 victory at Manon Fiorot in May, Shevchenko was called by Zhang in a post on Instagram.

After she cemented her superiority in stromal weight with successive defense against Amanda Lemos, Yan Xiaonan and Tatiana Suarez, the two -division ambitions of the Chinese star have grown.
