Manchester United suffered their 18th defeat from a miserable Premier League campaign, after 1-0 lost to Chelsea by Stamford Bridge, with Roy Keane tore in the players of Ruben Amorim
Roy Keane said that he would not be the one to transform the fortunes of Manchester United on Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Kobbie Mainoo. The Red Devils suffered their 18th defeat of a desperate Premier League season on Friday evening, in which Marc Cucurella won a 1-0 win for Chelsea.
Another loss remains united in 16th place in the table and dropped for their worst finish because they were relegated from the top flight in 1974. They can still save their campaign and secure the next term Champions League -but only if they beat Tottenham in the Europa League final next week in the Europa League final.
But ex-old Trafford skipper Keane was less impressed by what he saw at Stamford Bridge, which reserved extra criticism for three of Amorim's team. Keane delivered his opinion about Sky Sports after the game and did not chop his words about United's performance.
The former United Captain was questioned whether he would 'fight' to retain the services of Mainoo, Hojlund and Garnacho, and Garnacho should come in in the summer. Keane replied: “I wouldn't hang my hat on those three to get Man United [back].
“Mainoo comes up tonight, I looked at him well – he strolled around, some of his passes were sloppy. Garnacho is immature. He plays in small moments, but he doesn't do enough.
“We spoke for the program – you want players for the big clubs that week in, week out. He doesn't do that. He has a little talent; he makes some good runs and threatens behind,” reports Manchester Even News.
“On his good day you think:” I like what I see. ” But he has too many bad days.
“The fact that when he came to the club, he would be the most important man, he is not good enough! He is clearly lacking in trust and faith and he is also not surrounded by glare.
“The problems we have spoken about all season about Manchester United are still there. If people think they can repair that in one summer, then it won't happen.”
Jamie Redknapp agreed: “[Leny] Yoro is clearly not sold, he just comes to the club. I find it difficult to disagree with Roy. Almost every player, there is a prize for them all.
“That just tells you where they are. You look and you would probably be nervous for that team that goes to Champions League football. It doesn't suddenly get better at night.
“It doesn't get any better because they have a little experience. So I think almost every player, Jason Wilcox and the new CEO [Omar Berrarda]Will look and go, “if the offer is right and then we can bring someone younger and better, we will have to do it.” “
